Sporting Style
I wouldn't call myself a sporty girl, but I do appreciate a good baseball cap. When Fanatics asked me to create a "sporty chic" outfit based off one of their MLB hats, I couldn't resist. As a Bostonian, I had to choose a Red Sox cap. I love how unique this one is, as I'd never seen a black one before. The red logo is the perfect pop of color. I wanted the cap to be the piece of my outfit that "hit it out of the park," so I kept the look understated and edgy. This black and white windowpane dress reminds me of a baseball uniform and adds some sporty flare. Tights, ankle boots, and a leather jacket make the outfit appropriate for chilly days. Of course, you can't forget a mini bag, boyfriend watch, and red lipstick.
Step up to the plate in style by sporting a baseball hat. Cap off your next look with a MLB hat from Fanatics. Root for the home team and be a fashion queen!

Let it Pour, Let it Pour, Let it Pour
Jeans: Topshop | Sweater: vintage | Crop top: H&M | Boots: Hunter | Scarf: Abercrombie | Watch: Michael Kors |
Rainy and chilly days are always difficult to dress for. You want to stay warm and dry in style, but aren't quite sure what to wear. Layers and a pair of rain boots are your best friends. I started with a pair of black high waisted jeans and a crop top and added a red cable knit sweater and my favorite plaid scarf for extra warmth and a hint of holiday cheer. My Hunter boots combated the raindrops. Don't let the weather rain on your fashion parade!

Best Dressed at the 2014 AMAs
On Sunday, November
23rd, the stars took to the red carpet to show off their style for
the American Music Awards. There were a lot of slits, cutouts, and statement
accessories. While I saw many fashion faux pas walk the carpet, there were
still quite a few looks that dazzled. In no particular order, here is who I
think was on the best dressed list.
I think Fergie might be pulling an Angeline Jolie with this pose, but
nevertheless, she looks fabulous! I love how she kept it simple and did classic
with a modern twist.
I love this dress! Black, navy, and white is
such a chic combo. I think this is one of the E! host’s best red carpet looks.
Jordin looks amazing! I love her hair with
this dress. This look was the perfect choice for her.
Selena looks absolutely stunning in this elegant gown. Although it is a mature look, I think she pulls it off beautifully. The only thing I could have done without are those earrings. She should have taken those out and put in a pair of classic gold hoops.

Fall Favorites
I haven't done a favorites post in forever! Now that it's fall and the holiday season is upon us, I figured it's about time. Without further adieu, here is what I've been loving this fall!
Beauty
MAC 'Media' lipstick: I think this is the ultimate fall lipstick. The dark berry tone is so autumnal and I think it would compliment any skin tone. I also love how it has a matte finish. You can wear it on its own or with a bit of gloss on top. Either way, you really can't go wrong with a MAC lipstick!
NARS 'Sin' blush: The perfect dusty plum color with a bit of sparkle. It gives a lovely fall flush.
MAC 'Satin Taupe' eyeshadow: I swear by this shadow. It is my all-time favorite. I especially love wearing it around this time of year. If you're looking for a MAC eyeshadow, this is one to try.
Stila 'Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner' in black: There's something about a nice cat eye that just screams fall to me. This Stila liner makes achieving the perfect wing easy, and, as the name says, it stays all day!
Fashion:
American Apparel Tennis Skirt: This skirt has been my go-to these past couple months. I just can't stop wearing it! Paired with black tights, a black turtleneck, and loafers is my ultimate autumn uniform.
Chunky knit infinity scarves: I got mine at H&M last year and they are a life saver. They're cozy, cute, and compliment any outfit.
