Prom 2014

 

Friday, May 16th was my senior prom. Prom always felt so far away and now it has come and gone. I went with my sister Maggie and we had a great time together. (Sisters make the best prom dates).  

 

One of my favorite parts of my prom experience was getting ready. I loved having my hair done and doing my makeup and nails. My hair inspiration was Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diaires and I went for a silvery smoky eye. I painted my nails the perfect shade of pink with a sparkly, aurora borealis accent nail to match the gems in my gown and jewelry.

 

When I put on my dress, my prom look was complete. My sister and I enjoyed taking pictures in our gorgeous gowns. Although our dresses were completely different, they complemented each other nicely.
