I've always been a Maxxisnista. I have been shopping at T.J.Maxx for as long as I can remember. Their stores are always stocked with on-trend brand name and designer fashions at amazing prices. A trip to "T.J.'s" as my family likes to call it, never fails to feel like a trendy treasure hunt. When T.J.Maxx and Her Campus extended an invite to the grand opening of their new store on Newbury St. in Boston on May 5th, I was thrilled. T.J.Maxx even sent me gift cards to spend which was so generous. As you'll see, I had no trouble spending them. The Newbury St. T.J.Maxx is the best "T.J.'s" I've ever been to. Everything in store was so fabulous I was style starstruck.
My favorite section of the Newbury St. T.J.Maxx is without a doubt "The Runway at Maxx" designer clothing on the second floor. I was drawn to it instantly. Every article of clothing was like art. The designers they carried had me swooning. Basically, it slayed. The pictures I took don't even begin to capture the beauty of these clothes, shoes, and handbags. I highly recommend having a look for yourself if you're in the Boston area. The selection gave me plenty of fashion inspiration.
After window shopping "The Runway at Maxx," I made my way to the contemporary section, where I found the most amazing clothes. I tried on many pieces, from dresses and skirts to knit tops, and narrowed it down to three favorites, two of which I ended up purchasing: a white lace dress by Free People and denim button-down dress by Tularosa. They are incredible finds and I know I will be wearing them again and again. If I bought both dresses at full price, it would have cost me $336. These were about 1/4 of that. I'm forever a Maxxinista.
My favorite of the two dresses is the lace Free People. The details are so intricate and soft. It's boho-retro. I've never seen a dress quite like it. I love it so much, I put it on right away and had to do an impromptu photoshoot.
This is the first "little white dress" I've ever owned. I can't wait to style it all spring and summer long. As for the denim button-down dress, I'll be able to wear it year round. This time of year, all it needs is to be accessorized with a choker necklace and stud or hoop earnings. When fall comes around, a black turtleneck will be the perfect under layer. A Maxxinista knows how to transition her clothes.
Thank you again to T.J.Maxx and Her Campus for a fantastic shopping experience.
