The Transition Dressing Edit

It's almost spring (yay!) and that means it's time to think a bit warmer. Snow is melting, the sun is shining, the landscape is coming to life, and the air is happy and crisp. We can basically tuck our heavy winter coats and thick sweaters away. Now it's time to dress for transitioning into spring. Our outfits should be a fusion of the past four cold months and the warmer weather that's on its way. Here are some essentials you can wear now:

1. Denim jacket
A springtime staple. The perfect replacement for your puffy coat.

2. Denim/chambray shirt
Wear on its own or as a layering piece. Looks great over a simple tee or under a light sweater.

3. Striped long sleeve shirt
Parisian inspired and oh-so-chic.

4. Lightweight knit sweater
Who says sweater weather has to be over? Trade in your thick knits for something a bit lighter.

6. Tulle midi skirt
Pair with a denim or leather jacket for an edgy look.

6. Sunglasses
Here comes the sun! Be prepared with a great pair of sunnies. Ray-Ban 'Clubmasters' are a fabulous option.

7. Simple leather watch
Light on your wrist, heavy with style. Go understated with a classic strap and minimalistic face.

8. Mini bag
Downsize with a mini bag that holds only the essentials.

9. Floppy felt hat
Add bohemian flare to your look with a floppy felt hat. Black is always a good idea.

10. Black sneakers
Classic black Converse are a must. They will go with everything in your spring wardrobe.

11. White sneakers
White sneakers are the epitome of spring. Wear them with jeans, a stripe top, and sunnies and you're good to go.
