Nordstrom BP Mini Haul

 

Yesterday was my second to last Nordstrom BP Fashion Board meeting. I graduate the board at next month's meeting. As a member of the BP Fashion Board, I get 15% off BP merchandise on meeting days. I had never used my discount before and decided it was the perfect opportunity to pick up some spring goodies.

 

 

Nordstrom BP always has the best accessories from fun scarves to trendy jewelry. I have been wanting a statement necklace and was so happy to find this beautiful floral and gold one. It is the perfect start to my statement necklace collection.

 

I also picked up this fun floral scarf. I love how it is black and white and will go with everything but has red and pink for the perfect pop of color. This will look amazing and springy with a denim jacket or a simple t-shirt, jeans, and sandals.

 

 

Finally, I purchased a pair of sunnies. These are the best affordable ones I have ever seen. At  only $12, the quality of these is amazing. They look like they cost much more. If you're looking for a pair of spring/summer sunnies, I highly suggest checking out Nordstrom BP.

Makeup Haul Madness

I recently did a much needed makeup haul at Sephora, MAC, and Clinique. Prom is just around the corner and I wanted to pick up some products that would be perfect for prom night. I also purchased a few products that I had been lusting over.

I have tried all of these products except the Too Faced Sweethearts Blush and love each and every one of them. The Clinique Cheek Pop blush is so natural and pretty and perfect for spring, the First Aid Beauty cream has worked wonders on my dry hands, and 'Lusting' is a lust-worthy lipstick. My lashes and brows look natural thanks to Benefit's 'They're Real!' and Anastasia Brow Wiz. I can't wait to use the Too Faced Sweethearts Blush. I'm sure it won't disappoint. I have definitely found my April Beauty Favorites.

My latest spring obsession is this dress from Topshop. I love everything about it, from the color, to the tile print, to the fit-and-flare style. This dress could not be more perfect. To create this girly and casual look, I paired it with frilly socks, Keds, a denim jacket, silver jewelry, and my Rebecca Minkoff 'Mini MAB' Tote. I am loving how this outfit came together and can't wait to style my spring obsession throughout the warmer months.

Snow Leopard

After weeks of bitter cold and a lack of outfit posts, it is finally a beautiful, 54 degree day! The only problem is there are snow banks barricading my house so I am forced to take pictures inside. More snow is on the way this week, so I will have to say "sayonara" to skater skirts for a little while longer. This snow leopard is ready for spring.  

February Favorites

 

Fashion:

1. Juicy Couture Puffed Heart Earrings: This lovely pair of earrings is my new favorite. I received them as a Birthday present from my parents this month and have been wearing them almost every day. They're the perfect, girly puffed hearts.
2. Gap Leopard Print Loafers: I feel like I never took these shoes off in February. I wore them so much. They look amazing with an all black outfit.

Beauty:

1. MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Lipglass: I have always loved MAC Lipglasses, but Rihanna's is by far the most amazing I have ever seen. The color is such a beautiful and unique shade of red. It has the perfect amount of sparkle and looks gorgeous on the lips. I have only worn the gloss on it's own, but I know it will look great over many of my lipsticks.
2. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Rollerball: This has to be the prettiest perfume ever. I can't get enough of the sweet, comforting floral scent. I have been wearing it everyday and will definitely be purchasing the full size bottle in the near future.
3. NARS Creamy Concealer: When I ran out of my beloved MAC Studio Finish concealer, I decided to try a new one for a change. I am so glad I purchased this one. It covers blemishes and works wonderfully under the eyes leaving a smooth and natural finish. I highly recommend this one.
4. LORAC Oil-Free Wet/Dry Powder Makeup: Since LORAC is no longer being sold in Sephora, I figured I'd pick this powder up as it was half off the original price. I am glad I did. This powder provides smooth coverage that is light and natural, but certainly buildable. It has a matte finish, so a little goes a long way.
