The Power Suit

This look is LinkedIn ready. It's much more dressed up than my usual outfits. I wore this "power suit" to an interview instead of my go-to dress or skirt. I felt like Hillary Clinton meets Emma Watson. Women are wearing suits a lot more in the fashion world and on the red carpet, which I think is fabulous. There's even a new movement of girls wearing suits to prom. How cool is that?! A suit is classic, makes a statement, and a refreshing break from the expected evening gown. 

If you're petite and looking for a pair of dress pants that won't drag, I highly recommend the ones I'm wearing from ASOS. They magically make me look taller, which is difficult to do. I paired them with loafers, but they'd also be great with heels. To complete my suit look, I wore a white button down shirt also from ASOS and my H&M blazer I've had hanging in my closet for awhile. Pearl earrings, a pearl necklace, and my Daniel Wellington watch add the finishing touches. A suit means business.
