Unexpected Leopard

Turtleneck: H&M | Skirt: Tj Maxx | Shoes: Gap | Necklace: Tiffany & Co.

My leopard loafers are making an appearance in yet another outfit post. This time, they are paired with a faux leather skirt, tights, and a turtleneck. I think they are a great alternative to my black ballet flats. It's always fun to wear something that is a bit unexpected.

Pinafore Fun

Jacket: Tj Maxx | Pinafore: Tj Maxx | Blouse: Nordstrom BP | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Shoes: Tj Maxx | Ring: Rachel Zoe | Socks: Topshop

My pinafore is one of my favorite items to style at the moment. It can be worn with so many different things. Today, I paired my pinafore with a collared blouse, tights, gingham frilly socks, and a Chanel-esque tweed jacket to keep warm.

Flippy Skirts & Sweatshirts

Sweatshirt: senior class sweatshirt | Skirt: Tj Maxx | Shoes: Report | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Watch: Michael Kors | Ring: Topshop

Sweatshirts are a big trend right now, and rightfully so. Brands and designers such as Kenzo, Brain Litchenberg, and Alexander Wang have turned the sweatshirt into a fashion staple. I think the sweatshirts my senior class designed are right on trend. The "2014" in Roman numerals looks so cool and modern. I styled mine with a skirt, cutout boots, and my new Rebecca Minkoff bag to create a girly outfit with a bit of a laid-back edge.

A Hint of Burgundy

Jacket: Nordstrom BP | Blouse: Nordstrom BP | Jeans: Topshop | Scarf: H&M | Shoes: Gap | Watch: Fossil

This outfit contains a few of my favorite things: leopard print, monochrome and the color burgundy. I love how my leopard print loafers, burgundy scarf and MAC 'Media' lipstick make the look complete. This outfit is one of my new faves.

Winter Blues

Sweater: Gap | Jeans: Nordstrom BP | Boots: Steve Madden | Necklace: Tiffany & Co.

Sweaters have been my savior during the past few weeks. It has been very cold and a nice, warm sweater like this one from the Gap is perfect. I've never a sweater in this shade of blue before. I love how it looks against against my skin tone. Although I love dressing in all black, a bit of color can be the perfect pick-me-up. This sweater gives me the winter blues...in a good way!

Turtlenecks, Pinafores, and Katz: Oh, My!

Pinafore dress: Tj Maxx | Turtleneck: H&M | Shoes: Topshop

My first OOTD post of 2014! It's a new year, and for me that means new outfits and more chances to experiment with style. I used to hate turtlenecks as a little girl, but now I am obsessed with them. The one I'm wearing from H&M looks so chic with my pinafore dress and Topshop Katz. I have to admit, I was pretty freezing today in the 20 degree weather, but this outfit was just begging to be worn. Fashion knows no limits.

December Favorites

1. My Topshop boyfriend coat added the perfect pop of color to my monochromatic outfits this December. I originally wanted the black version of this coat, but couldn't be happier with the red one. The red stands out in not only the snowy landscape, but in the sea of black winter coats.

2. L'Occitane hand cream is the best hand cream hands down. My hands are always so cracked and dry in the winter and this heals them right up. I put some on before I go to bed and my hands go from flaky to fabulous overnight!

3. My Topshop sweater is the perfect shade of winter green. Whether I pair it with a skirt and tights or jeans, it always keeps me cozy. I can't wait to wear it even more in the coming months.

4. I can't live without my eos lip balm. I apply this minty goodness to my lips before bed and in the morning my lips are nice and soft. This is absolutely one of my winter must-haves.
