Overall Vintage

Coat: ASOS | Overalls: Abercrombie (similar) | Turtleneck: American Apparel | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Bag: MCM (similar) | Watch: Daniel Wellington | Earrings: Topshop

Overalls are becoming a winter staple for me. They're surprisingly versatile and beg to be worn with lots of layers. They also look great with a variety of shoes from ankle boots to sneakers. I have been living in this pair from Abercrombie. The wash is just right, not too light or dark, and they are incredibly comfy. I especially love wearing them with turtlenecks. The high neck balances out the bib-style front of the overalls and creates a minimalistic look.

For this outfit, I made the dungarees the focus. I keep my jewelry simple by wearing only my Daniel Wellington watch and a pair of stud earrings with a bit of sparkle. My black turtleneck and ankle boots are basic pieces that keep the look streamlined. I put on my faux fur coat and vintage MCM bag when I was running errands around the city. Overall, I am feeling the overall vibes this season.

Faux Fur Fancy

Coat: ASOS | Skirt: American Apparel | Sweater: H&M (similar) | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Bag: MCM

This faux fur coat is something Macklemore would wear while poppin' tags and I LOVE it. People may ask, "Is that your grandma's coat?", but no, it's from ASOS. I bought it on sale and it is honestly one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's a petite fit which is perfect for me and surprisingly very warm. I wore this outfit on a chilly Boston day and stayed nice and toasty.

I wanted my coat to be the focus of my outfit so I wore all black underneath. Black ankle boots and my vintage MCM bag complete the look. I am already planning in my head the outfits I will wear with this amazing piece. If you're petite and looking for a faux fur coat that won't overwhelm you, this is the one. ASOS also has some fabulous options for those of you that don't have to worry about clothes being too long. I especially like *this*, *this*, *this* and *this*. Thrift stores also have great selections.

Embrace your inner Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant and fancy a faux fur coat this winter.

Western

Leather jacket: Zara | Blouse: Forever 21 | Jeans: Topshop | Belt: Asos | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Shoes: Sam EdelmanEarrings: Topshop

I may be a girl from the East Coast, but I love a western belt. When I found this gem on Asos, I knew it was "the one." The buckle is intricately detailed and the perfect size. It makes a statement but isn't over-the-top. If you're shopping for a quality vintage-looking belt, this is the one to get.

I styled my entire look around the belt, going for a western and edgy vibe. My paisley print peasant blouse adds a '70s-prairie-chic feel while my leather jacket and ankle boots add wild west show toughness. Black high-waisted skinny jeans keep the outfit streamlined. A mini bag, sparkly earrings and MAC 'Media' lipstick add the finishing touches.

Whether or not it's your first time at the statement belt rodeo, I would give this western trend a try.

2015: The Year in Style

It's that time of (new) year where I do my annual outfit recap. I always find it so interesting to look back on my year in style. I wore a lot of black, blue and white, one of my favorite color combinations. My Ray-Ban 'Clubmaster' sunglasses got a lot of wear as did my Rebecca Minkoff 'Mini MAB' bag and Zara leather jacket. Towards the end of the year, I became obsessed with hats. I even channeled my inner Iris Apfel on Halloween.

I had a lot of fun with fashion in 2015. I can't wait to create more looks throughout 2016.
