Dressed in Black

Faux fur vest: Rachel Zoe | Jeans: Topshop | Sweater: H&M | Combat boots: Steve Madden | Watch: Michael Kors | Earrings: Topshop |

Dressed in black from head to toe is the way to go....especially when there is a touch of faux fur. This vest is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. It is so fun to wear and adds texture and dimension to an all black ensemble. I'd wear it all winter long if I could, but that would be kind of strange...

Best (and worst) dressed at the Golden Globe Awards

Some stars shined while others "are stars I can't fathom into constellations" as Augustus Waters would say. We certainly saw "the fault in out stars" on the red carpet, as well as the perfection. Here are my best and worst of the 2015 Golden Globes.

BEST

**Jessica Chastain in Atelier Versace**
My best dressed of the entire evening goes to Jessica Chastain. She is doing old Holywood glamour to perfection. Her hair and makeup compliment this gorgeous Versace gown beautifully and the jewelry is just the right amount of sparkle. Obsessed.

Felicity Jones in Christian Dior
A timeless princess dress is never a bad choice. I love the color, poof, and especially the mock neck. I do wish she had worn a bracelet, though to add some much needed sparkle.

Reese Witherspoon in Calvin Klein
Reese can really do no wrong. I am a huge fan of simplicity and she does it so elegantly. The shimmery silver dress and bracelet are a dynamic fashion duo.

Katherine Heigl in Zac Posen
Yet another dress that shows simplicity can be stunning. This Zac Posen fits Katherine perfectly and the color and cut are spot on.

Emma Stone in Lanvin
Emma Stone is rocking this bejeweled black jumpsuit with a bow and I am a big fan. It's high fashion and made a statement on the red carpet. The whole look just works.

WORST

 **Keira Knightley in Chanel**
My worst dressed of the entire evening is Keira Knightley. When I saw this dress on the red carpet I screamed. It is that bad. Just no, Keira.

Lana Del Rey
Love her music, hate the dress. The hair, the shine, the silhouette...nothing works! I think this dress was "born to die."

Allison Williams in Armani Prive
She looks like a Christmas tree. Christmas is over. I think this dress should be put in storage until December when it can be decorated with lights and a few ornaments.

Tina Fey in Antonio Berardi
The top part of the dress is kind of pretty, but the bottom is a disaster. There is way too much going on here. If the skirt had been straight and maybe even in black, I think this would have been a great look. As is, it just doesn't work.

Claire Danes in Valentino
This frumpy, ill-fitting, feathered frock is a fashion failure. It completely washes her out and is not a good look for her. I would have liked to see Beyonce wearing it instead. I think she could pull it off.

Do you agree with my picks? Who are your best and worst? Let me know down below.

2014: The Year in Style

Happy New Year! It's 2015 and that means another 365 day blogging session. I am looking forward to sharing my fashion journey with you again. Now that 2014 has officially come to a close, I thought it was only fitting to look back at the year in personal style. These are my favorite outfits. (Black and white was trending as always). I can't wait to see what my fashion future holds. May your 2015 be as fabulous as you are!
