Falling for Maxis

Dress: Topshop | Leather jacket: Zara | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Shoes: Vans
 | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Earrings: Topshop (similar)

Just because fall is here doesn't mean the maxi dress has to hibernate. I think they're an elegant option  for the seasonal transition. With a leather jacket, slip on sneakers and sleek, structured bag, the maxi gets a fall-appropriate update. I'll be wearing mine until the snow comes. Until then, nothing is stopping me from taking maximum advantage of the maxi dress!

Pop of Color

Top: Forever 21 | Skirt: Topshop | Leather jacket: Zara | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Bag: Stella Rittwagen (similar) | Ring: Rachel Zoe

It's no secret I wear a lot of white and black. For this look, I added a pop of color with a red lip and Stella Rittwagen bag I borrowed from my friend, Yael. She loves fashion too and swears by this designer. Unfortunately, you can't get Stella Rittwagen in the US. The good news is Cambridge Satchel Company makes bags that look identical. I am definitely adding a red one to my wish list.

Rips & Stripes

Shirt: Zara | Jeans: Zara | T-shirt: H&M | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Sneakers: Vans | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Watch: Michael Kors | Necklace: Tiffany & Co. | Earrings: Tiffany & Co.

Distressed denim is having a moment in fashion. Celebrities, models and trendsetters are all wearing their best distressed blue jeans. I love how rips and frays add texture and interest to an outfit in an effortless way. When I found this perfect pair of ripped jeans at Zara, I knew I couldn't leave them behind. Everything about them works, from the wash to the placement of the rips and frayed hems. I paired my jeans with a simple white tee from H&M and a Parisian-inspired striped shirt from Zara. I feel like a French artist when I wear it. I slipped on leather Vans and went with my Rebecca Minkoff bag to add a pop of black to the outfit. I really like how white, blue and black look together. I accessorized with my Ray-Bans, Michael Kors watch and Tiffany jewelry to complete the look. I think ripped jeans and striped shirts will be street style staples for a long time.

Runway Roundup: NYFW Spring 2016

It's safe to say I'm a Fashion Week fanatic. If there is a runway show going on, I have my eyes on it from my computer screen. When the top designers unveil their new collections each season it excites and inspires me. I lust after these wearable works of art. As usual, I've created another runway roundup featuring my favorite looks from the New York Fashion Week spring 2016 ready-to-wear collections. I love all the feminine details, floral prints (for spring? groundbreaking), pastel and metallic colors and flowy silhouettes.

Can you guess which collections are my favorite (hint, hint: Zimmerman and Marchesa)? What are yours?

Back to Classic

Denim jacket: thrifted (similar) | Dress: Brandy Melville | Sneakers: Converse | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Watch: Michael Kors | Necklace: Tiffany & Co. | Earrings: Tiffany & Co.

Back to class means back to classic clothing. For me, this means lots of stripes, denim and monochrome. I love how these simple elements can make a serious fashion statement based on the silhouette and personality of the piece that possesses them. The clean lines of this striped dress paired with the lived-in look of the thrifted denim jacket create contrast. Converse sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff mini bag and Ray-Bans add interest. My signature jewelry lends the outfit a personal touch. How will you go back to classic this fall?

Denim Dressing

Dress: thrifted Levi's (similar) | Sandals: Sam EdelmanBag: vintage MCM (similar) | Belt: Fossil (similar) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelets: Topshop | Scrunchie: American Apparel

The denim dress is the perfect piece to transition into fall. You can just put it on, accessorize and head out the door looking fabulously effortless. I happened to come across my Levi's denim button front dress at Goodwill, but they're hanging on the racks of any store you can think of. I wanted to give the garment some boho flair, so I styled it with my gold Fossil belt, Sam Edelman sandals, vintage inspired Topshop bracelets, Ray-Ban 'Clubmaster' sunglasses, a floral scrunchie and MCM tambourine bag that I purchased for only two dollars at Savers. I did some Googling and found out this MCM "Suzie Wong" purse is from the '80s. It's such a cool and unique statement piece. I don't ever see it going out of style. As the seasons start to change, denim dressing with timeless accessories is definitely the way to go. How will you dress up?
